Four Poster Beds - Solid Wood Beds - Delivery & Shipping Information

Our four poster beds, solid wood beds and bedroom furniture are delivered throughout the UK and also further afield by special request. Our delivery prices can vary, depending on your location, the size of the furniture being delivered and the level of service you require. As a guide, the average cost of delivering a four poster bed to you from our UK furniture workshop from Matlock Derbyshire  is included in the price of the product however we do charge extra for shipping for UK further out locations such as Scottish Highlands, Outer Hebredes, Channel Islands etc although we deliver free of charge to most of the UK mainland counties listed below.

Our four poster beds usually arrive in a large van in manageable sections for home self assembly. Your bespoke new bed be extremely well wrapped so it arrives in the immaculate condition although we ask you to check for any obvious signs of damage to the outer packaging when it arrives. The delivery driver will be happy to carry your bed inside your home for you. 

The reason we use couriers to deliver our beds & furniture for us is so we can dedicate our time to our furniture workshop and the making of our beautiful handmade solid wood four poster beds and furniture. We use a specialist furniture moving company to deliver our handmade wooden beds and furniture and parcel force delivers our much smaller items. We ask for your understanding in the rare event that a delivery doesn’t  go to plan although we will always do our best to plan and track deliveries so everything goes smoothly.  I usually contact you when your new bed is made arrange your delivery with you and also we let you know once your bed has been collected by the courier so you know it’s on its way. I’ll also send you tracking confirmation by text or email. A factor that can increase the cost of shipping is distance, for example customers living North of Edinburgh and some Scottish regions, Scottish Isles , the courier costs would be charged for due to the distance involved. If you are not home to receive your delivery, we may need to charge you a re-delivery charge or any extra costs incurred if we have to attempt another delivery or your item is returned to us.  Our furniture workshop is based in Wirksworth near Matlock in Derbyshire. DE44FY. You are also very welcome to collect you new bed or arrange your own courier collection so long as your furniture is paid for in advance.
