Our strong wooden bed frames are handmade and suitable for larger & heavier people. A good solid bed frame needs to be a strong, weight bearing piece of furniture as well as aesthetically beautiful. We don't use standard bed fittings on our handmade beds as we've designed a much stronger method of construction, there's no reason why your Abowed bed shouldn't last a lifetime if well looked after. Busy this week handpainting planked beds white, not quite a white wash effect though as we prefer a cleaner look. The corners of the bedposts are slightly distressed on this model , not quite shabby chic!

We're making these lovely distressed old fasioned stools that are rather cool. They're made from character oak in our furniture workshop in Wirksworth near Matlock.
